I’ve heard these comments many times, and instead of arguing with them, I simply smile. When they ask me why I tell them that we encourage our children to read their books because we know that reading is crucial for growth and development. If we want to continue growing as individuals, we must continue to read and learn. It’s high time we practice what we preach…and become a better example for our children.
